A look around Juliette, Georgia where the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" was filmed. In the movie the town was called Whistle Stop. Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe is a 1987 bestselling novel by Fannie Flagg. In 1991 it was adapted into the film Fried Green Tomatoes.
Today I'm taking you on a personal tour of the all new World of Coca-Cola Museum in downtown Atlanta, Georgia next to Centennial Olympic Park, CNN and the Georgia Aquarium.

Atlanta Falcons first day of training camp in Flowery Branch, Georgia. There were Michael Vick protesters pro and con there because of the federal dog fighting case against him. Should they let him play or suspend him or cut him?
Today's travel took me from Alabama to Chattanooga on the back roads across Sand Mountain and north Georgia and then on home to Atlanta. I stopped for a nice country lunch with my friend Anita in Chattanooga.
My road trip today takes up through the south Georgia towns of Perry, Americus and Plains. We'll have a look around Plains, Georgia where the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, lives.
Mother Country explains what cracklins are and gives Country a lesson on cooking cracklin cornbread. This might be the most unhealthy dish on earth.

I'm on the road traveling again in the Carolinas this week. It's raining cats and dogs today but I didn't let that stop me. The video contains clips from several small South Carolina towns.
Yesterday I went down to the 2007 Atlanta International Auto show at the Georgia World Congress Center. After that I took a stroll through the CNN center where they have the Humvee on display that was used for live coverage at the start of the War in Iraq in 2003.
